One thing we can plan on now while the weather is still cold ( for those of us in the cold weather states) is the up coming New England Stitching Retreats. October 4-7, 2013 with instructor Belinda Karls-Nace from Blue Ribbon Designs.  For those of you who have been to one of  Belinda's reatreats you already know you will be having a great time, for those of you who haven't be ready for a great time.
October 7-10, 2013 with instructor Lori - La-D-Da Designs. I have been to 2 Retreats that Lori has been the instructor and she is marvelous! Lori is a ton of fun, and has some great stories.
October 11-14, 2013 with instructor Cathy Campbell of Primitive Traditions. Cathy is back by popular demand with a special Euti you don't want to miss! Keep looking for updates, we will let everyone know when we have the final projects pictures for you to look at.

Classes are already filling up, so if any 1 or 2 or even 3 of the above mentioned retreats are something you are wanting to attend don't hesitate to reserve your room.

How about a survey

I've been thinking the past few days (usually a dangerous thing!) about future retreats and future teachers and decided to ask all our followers and attendees who would you like to see  teach for a New England Stitcher's Retreat? We have alot of great designers out there and it's hard to decide who to ask. So if you could take a few minutes of your time and comment on this post it would be appreciated.

We also had a single room open up on Belinda's retreat so if you want it don't hesitate to send in your reservation!

Hope everyone had a great July 4th with lots of family fun and fireworks.

October 2012 Retreats

Hi Everyone, just wanted to let you know that our October Retreat plans have been finalized. We will once again be hosting our retreat at the Enfield Shaker Museum. It is our privilege to be providing accommodations in the Great Stone Dwelling. You can get all of the details about the accommodations on our Website We have two very talented instructors. Our first retreat, October 12-15, 2012 is with Cathy Campbell from Primitive Traditions. She has created an exclusive fabric covered box with beautifully coordinated needlework smalls. This class concentrates on the construction of the box which is round and has a removable tray insert. Below you can view pictures of this project.

Our second retreat, October 19-22, 2012, will be with Belinda Karls-Nace of Blue Ribbon Designs. Belinda has agreed to return and we are delighted. She has had 2 very successful teaching engagements with us in the past and we had many requests from past students for her return. She is working on the design as we speak and I am told a sneak peak may be available soon. I can tell you it is a Halloween themed design and I am sure it will be 'spook'tacular in true Belinda fashion.

I hope you will join us!! If you have any questions please feel free to contact us through the New England Stitching Retreat Website.
